Authority for Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones (HEPZA)

The Authority for Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones was established on November 20, 1995. HEPZA functions to oversee the industrial parks and export processing zones in Hanoi, in addition to streamlining the application and approval process for foreign investors wishing to set up in Hanoi.

HEPZA can approve licenses for projects with a total investment capital of up to US$10 million (for IZ enterprises) and USD 40 million (for exporting-processing enterprises).

Time Frame

Evaluation and approval of licenses should take no longer than 1 month.
